Privacy and Security Policy

Thrivory (“We” or “Us”) takes protecting the privacy and security of your information seriously. To ensure that the personal information you provide stays protected and secure, we have put in place and adhere to privacy policies and standards and use best-in-class systems and tools. The terms of this policy are also referenced in our Terms of Service. This policy governs the information we collect through the Thrivory website, during our application and underwriting processes, and ongoing to continue servicing you. If you disagree with the Terms of Service and/or this Privacy and Security Policy, immediately terminate your use of the ThivIO application and its content and related services (“Applications”). Your use of the Application(s) shall be considered explicit consent and adherence to both the Terms of Service and the Privacy and Security Policy.

HIPAA

Thrivory, Inc. is an entity that is covered by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”). The HIPAA privacy rules apply to health plans, health care clearinghouses, to any health care provider who transmits health information in electronic form in connection with transactions for which the Secretary of Health and Human Services has adopted standards under HIPAA (the “covered entities”) and their service providers (“business associates”). This means that the information that you provide to Thrivory is protected by the HIPAA privacy rules and regulations. You may submit or otherwise make available any protected health information (as that term is defined under HIPAA) to Thrivory once a Business Associates Agreement is executed between both parties.

At any time, we may update the Privacy and Security Policy and your continued access constitutes your acceptance, agreement, and understanding of the most current version. We will update the “last updated” date below to notify you of any changes and you waive the right to be directly and specifically notified about these changes.


What information do we collect?

We collect personal information, defined as any information that may be used to identify a business or individual either alone or in combination with other information, for the purposes of application screening, underwriting, and for ongoing business operations. The information we collect may come from you directly or through third party applications or sources. We may also collect data through the use of cookies and other technologies to monitor web page activity in an effort to continuously improve our services, make our service more secure, efficient, and accessible. Information we obtain may include:

  • Identifiers which can include but are not limited to: name, mailing address, phone number, accounts number, identification
  • Records of property, products, services purchased, obtained, or considered
  • Account balances, payment history, tax filing history, account activity, bank account information, business credit checks
  • Internet activity such as, but not limited to: cookie identifiers, geo-location data, dates/timestamps, device version, browser types, referring/exit pages, in-site activity
  • Professional or employment related information
  • Information not listed above and related to characteristics protected under CA or Federal law/code

How do we use your information?

We use your information for our underwriting process to qualify you to contract with us and receive access to our services and Application(s). In addition we use your information to operate, maintain, and provide ongoing services to you and to conduct our ongoing business processes to support you.

We may collect information from you for the purposes of providing you with access to our Applications, to service our financing arrangement, to provide you with information about our Application and to improve our Application and Services, to better provide customer support to you.


How do we share your information?

We will not sell or disclose your personal information to any unauthorized third party or external source nor we collect, use, or disclose any sensitive personal information unless required by law, or as part of an acquisition, sale, or for the purposes of qualifying you for services so that we can conduct initial and ongoing business together. Company will not share any information with any party, third-party or otherwise, not under an appropriate privacy and data sharing agreement.


How do we store and protect your information?

The information we collect from you is retained as long as there is an ongoing and legitimate business need to do so. We securely store all the information submitted and securely delete it at the time the business need no longer supports retaining it. Secure storage protocols include ensuring that proper physical, technical, and organizational measures are taken to protect the information you share with us. Finally, we use leading companies/services to process all financial transactions and underwriting obligations. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of any data you transmit to us.

In the event of a suspected breach of the security of your personally identifiable information, we will notify you so you can take the appropriate action as required by the extent of the law.


Your Rights

  • You have the right to request access to the information you have submitted to us
  • You have the right to request modifications, updates, or even deletion of the information you have submitted to us
  • You have the right to request that we suspend processing the information you provide and can withdraw your consent at any time
